More Info
Kerry Meier is either cursed or blessed to share his experiences in college ball with all three of his Meier brothers: Shad (Kansas State and the NFL), Adam (Pittsburg State), and Dylan (Kansas State). As the last Meier brother through the college ball world, Kerry Meier is proving himself with each play.

Kerry Meier grew up in Pittsburg, Kansas and played football for Pittsburg High School. Superprep Magazine ranked Kerry Meier as the 13th best quarterback in the U.S. and he was a Kansas Coaches' all state selection.

Next Kerry Meier signed on with the Kansas Jayhawks. He redshirted but played with the scout team in 2005. In 2006 he played in 8 games. He also threw for 1,193 yards which resulted in a Kansas Jayhawks record for a freshman of 13 touchdowns.

As a back-up quarterback in 2007, Kerry Meier saw playing time as a wide receiver. He started in 5 games as a wide receiver and made 26 passes for 274 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Then we get to 2008. The records and honors Kerry Meier earned that season are almost too many to list here: All-Big 12 Honorable Mention honors; one of 10 chosen as a Biletnikoff Award candidate; a 3rd team Phil Steele All-Big 12 player; tied for the Gale Sayers Most Courageous Player pick; AP All-Big 12 Honorable Mention. Kerry Meier also shattered the Kansas Jayhawks record for receptions by making 97 catches for 1,045 yards. This also tallied to be the fourth-most yards by a Kansas Jayhawks player in HISTORY!

Kerry Meier is an exciting player and seeing him live is even better. Purchase your Kansas Jayhawks tickets today!
