More Info
Ed Warinner graduated from Mt. Union College in 1984 where he played baseball and football and earned four varsity letters for his impressive performances in both sports. Immediately after his undergraduate degree, Ed Warinner went on to a graduate program at Akron University, but football was never far from his mind.

Ed Warinner went on to some duty in the Air Force and was the part of the Army offensive line coaching team and recruiting department for 13 years. He was a coach at Akron for one season and at Michigan State for two in the mid-80s.

The Kansas Jayhawks hired Ed Warinner in 2003 as the offensive line coach. But by 2004, the Kansas Jayhawks restructured the put Ed Warinner in as o-line coach and run game coordinator. As part of this role, Ed Warinner works closely with the quarterbacks and has especially clicked with current Kansas Jayhawks quarterback star, Todd Reesing.

In 2007, under Ed Warinner's attention, the Kansas Jayhawks offensive line was second in the nation for scoring. Ed Warinner clearly connects with these players and loves what he does and insiders speculate he'll be with the Kansas Jayhawks for years to come.
